Archiveopteryx man pages
For your convenience, here are the UNIX man pages for Archiveopteryx.
(Keep in mind that some directory names may be different from your local
installation.)
Overview:
- archiveopteryx(8) describes
Archiveopteryx briefly and refers to each of the other pages.
- oryx(7) gives a brief overview of the
company behind Archiveopteryx, should anyone care.
Installation and Configuration:
Servers:
- archiveopteryx(8) accepts mail
via LMTP or SMTP, and serves mail via
IMAP or POP3.
- tlsproxy performs TLS
encryption/decryption on behalf of the other servers.
- ocd helps with inter-server communication
within Archiveopteryx.
- logd filters log messages and writes to
the log file.
Clients:
- aox is the command-line administration tool
(which does things like start the servers and manage user accounts).
- aoximport is used to import message
en masse from mbox, maildir, mh, and cyrus mailboxes.
- deliver accepts mail from stdin or a
file and feeds it to the LMTP server.
- recorder records IMAP connections,
e.g. for bug reports.
These web pages were automatically generated from the man pages.
Regrettably their formatting is not optimal for the web.
